Romeo
Romeo’s early years were spent in a zoo in Taiwan, caged in a small area. At 6 years old he was repatriated back to Indonesia and transferred to BOS Foundation to join their rehabilitation program at the Samboja Lestari Orangutan rehabilitation Centre. after much care Romeo was released onto a pre release island where he could finally live in an open area and learn to socialize with other individuals. it has been a long and hard journey for Romeo, but with the fantastic work of BOS Foundation Romeo, like so many other orangutans finally has the chance of a good and free life.
Overall edition size strictly limited to 100.
Limited edition prints are available in a number of sizes shown - 12 inch x 12 inch, 14 inch x 14 inch, 16 inch x 16 inch, 18 inch x 18 inch and 20 inch x 20 inch. All prints come with an additional 2 inch border around the image to enable easy handling and framing options. Printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm fine art paper to ensure a print of the highest museum archival quality. It is a 100% white cotton fine art paper which boasts a wonderfully soft feel and lightly defined felt structure and images are printed with LUCIA EX 12 Colour Pigment Ink. I only use a print studio that carries the Fine Art Trade Guild kite mark to ensure superior quality.
Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the print maker and me, the artist and contains the title of the work, the media used and the number and date of the edition.
